Two devices cannot simultaneously be connected to the hotspot.
We do not recommend connecting more than one device to the hotspot for multiple reasons:
Most users who are paying for data don't want others to use up or exceed their data plan. If you share your hotspot with others, you're giving them access to your data.
You and your partner may want to connect to the hotspot at different times throughout your trip, but switching back and forth between accounts is not possible without being in Cell/Wifi range. If you disconnect and your friend tries to connect, the app won't switch over accounts and your messages will appear to be coming from the account that was initially connected. This may be confusing for family or friends that you're contacting.
